The only two paths

Psalm 1

1. Blessed is the man who does not walk according to the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the circle of scoffers;

2. rather he takes pleasure in the law of the Lord, and in his law he meditates day and night.

3. For it will be like the tree planted by the currents of water, which bears its fruit in the proper season, and whose leaf does not fall; and everything you do will prosper.

4. The wicked are not like that, but are like the mill that the wind spreads.

5. Therefore the wicked will not stand in judgment, nor will sinners in the congregation of the righteous;

6. because the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to ruin.
